THE MUCH-awaited PRURide PH 2020 has been officially cancelled according to a statement released by the organizers Saturday. The big Cycling event was supposed to be held last March 11 to 15 inside the Clark Special Economic Zone but was postponed indefinitely weeks before the start.
Because of this, the registration fees will be refunded. Participants need to send an email to info@pruride.ph which includes complete information plus the six-digit transaction number.
Highlight of the event was the three-day UCI 2.2 Stage Race featuring members of the Philippine National Team and foreign cyclists who hope to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The defending champion is Filipino ace Marcelo Felipe who ruled the 2019 edition hosted by Subic Bay.
Aside from the Stage Race, a Criterium Race was scheduled. The last day was reserved for the Gran Fondo wherein cyclists of all skill levels can ride together with race ambassadors Gretchen Ho, Zoren Legaspi and Kuya Kim Atienza.
The plans for PRU Ride PH 2021 will be announced once finalized.
Go Marcelo Felipe! 🎉🎉🎉
