Ten For 10th ISAA

ISAA and its 10 member schools are ready for the grand opening of the 10th season this September 18 at the MOA Arena.

ISAA Season 10     TO MARK their 10th season, the Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA) will have an all-time high of 10 participating schools.  This development comes after the league admitted three new members recently in time for their September 18 grand opening at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Trinity University of Asia, Treston International College and Immaculada Concepcion College will join FEATI University, La Consolacion College, Manila Adventist College, Manila Tytana Colleges, PATTS College of Aeronautics, Philippine Women’s University and Saint Dominic College of Asia.  The newcomers hope to be immediately competitive in their maiden seasons.

Then known as Trinity College, the Stallions used to compete and win titles in other leagues and is now moving to revive their glory days.  Meanwhile, this is the first time that the ICC Blue Hawks and Treston Golden Lions will join a major collegiate sports organization.

9:30 AM LCCM vs. PATTS
11:00 AM ICC vs. MAC (SHS)
12:30 PM MTC vs. LCCM (SHS)
2:00 PM SDCA vs. MTC
3:30 PM TUA vs. Treston
5:00 PM FEATI vs. PWU

Nine teams are entered in the centerpiece Seniors Basketball with only MAC not fielding an entry.  The Juniors Division will have six teams in ICC, LCCM, MAC, MTC, SDCA and TUA.

PATTS is the defending champion in both Men’s Basketball and Volleyball.  MTC ruled Juniors Basketball while SDCA won in Women’s Volleyball.

Ruel dela Rosa of MTC is this historic season’s President with Andres Cristobal of LCCM as his Vice President.  Other league officials are Treasurer Melanie Florentino of FEATI, Secretary Boyet Giron of MAC, Auditor Jonathan Sta. Ana of SDCA, PRO Benjie Hernandez of PATTS and Board Members Marielle Benitez and Raul Santos of PWU, Jae delos Santos of MTC and Josefa Dimalanta of SDCA.
