PASIG CITY – Cignal HD churned out another amazing performance to hand Racal Motors their very defeat of the 2017 PBA D-League Foundation Cup, 93-75, in the featured contest Tuesday (June 20) at the Ynares Sports Arena. The Hawkeyes applied a defensive clinic on Racal’s top guns to turn the projected marquee rematch of the last Aspirants Cup Finals into a blowout.

The margin extended to as much as 23 point early in the third period, 59-36, but Cignal suddenly relaxed and almost paid dearly for it.
With his teammates struggling, Michael Ayonayon presided over Racal’s intense rally that saw them cut the margin to as low as six points in the fourth period. However, key baskets by Raymar Jose and triples from Jason Perkins saved the day as Cignal slowly rebuilt their lost big lead.
