Malaysia Trip For Under Armour 3X3 Champs

     THE PHILIPPINES’ best young street basketball players will get the golden chance to represent the country as Under Armour presents the 2017 FIBA 3X3 Under-18 Asia Cup.  A pair of local qualifying tournaments in Cebu and Manila will be held to select the lucky team that may go to Malaysia on May 26 to 28, 2017 to match skills with the continent’s best.

Form an all-boys or all-girls team of three to four players and proceed to any of the Under Armour stores or partner establishments listed at, fill out the forms and pay the registration fee of PHP 2,750.00 per team.  Successfully registered teams will be entitled to a free pair of Under Armour shorts and a tank top plus a 25-percent discount on Under Armour shoes.

The qualifiers will be hosted first by Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu from April 22 to 23.  The action then shifts to Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City from April 28 to 30.

Medals and Under Armour cash vouchers await the top three winners.  The champions are set to receive up to SGD 1,000.00 or about PHP 35,845.00.

This event is sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).  However, the final decision of whether or not the champions will compete in Malaysia together with the regular national team remains with the SBP.

Deadline for submission of entries is on April 9, 2017 or when all slots are filled up, whichever comes first.
