NCRUCLAA on Facebook     MANILA – Jhonard Clarito gave out a memorable performance to lift De Ocampo Memorial College to the semifinal round of the National Capital Region Universities and Colleges of Luzon Athletic Association (NCRUCLAA) by clipping De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, 91-83, at the San Andres Sports Complex Monday (March 13).  The forward out of Davao started strong and finished stronger by delivering the killer blows for the victory for the still undefeated Cobras, the Group A top seed.

Unfazed by their opponents’ spotless record, the Patriots gave it a good fight at managed to keep the scored tied at halftime, 47-47.  Things changed after Tyrone de la Cruz sank a pair of free throws to give DOMC the upper hand entering the fourth period, 69-68.

The Cobras re-entered the court a different unit as Clarito presided over their final push by pouring in 10 markers.  Big hits by Igi Boy Sabasaje, Redel Fabro and de la Cruz also helped secure the win.

Clarito started with 10 points in the first period and eventually led all scorers with 34 points. Dahrrel Caranguian followed with 14 points despite going scoreless in the fourth period.

John Cantimbuhan paced the Patriots with 16.  Pacholo Loor supported him with 13.
