NCRUCLAA: San Lorenzo d. NCBA, 77-69

NCRUCLAA on Facebook     QUEZON CITY – The winning streak of Colegio de San Lorenzo now extends to six games after they got the better of visiting National College of Business and Arts, 77-69, in the main game of the National Capital Region Universities and Colleges of Luzon Athletic Association (NCRUCLAA) Basketball tournament at the CDSL Gym Wednesday (March 1).  Big Jun Gabriel asserted his dominance all over the court to power the home side’s second half surge that secured the win.

Ahead by only four markers at the halftime break, 39-35, Gabriel started the third period hot by knocking in a triple followed by seven more points as the Griffins pulled away for good, 61-52.  Gabriel was always ready to repel any NCBA comeback with Jan Dominic Formento and Charles Callano drilling in the timely shots that kept the Wildcats at bay.
