ARIZONA STATE University will always be a big part of NBA superstar James Harden’s career.  Before hitting it big time in the pros, Harden powered the Sun Devils for two seasons and it is only fitting that he and adidas will pay homage to his collegiate days with the launch of the James Harden Crazylight 2016 ASU edition.

Recruited out of Artesia High School in California in 2007, Harden immediately made an impact by leading ASU in scoring as a freshman with 17.8 points per game.  He continued his scoring ways into his sophomore year with improved averages of 20.1 per game, enough to earn Pac 10 Player of the Year honors and carry the Sun Devils into the NCAA Tournament where they reached the Second Round.

With such an impressive resume already, Harden decided to forgo his remaining college eligibility and declared for the 2009 NBA Draft.  The Oklahoma City Thunder wasted no time in tabbing the high-scoring guard with the third overall pick and the rest they say is history.

“ASU helped mold me into the man I am today and this is my chance to show love, respect and how much they mean to me,” said Harden.  The Sun Devils compiled a 46-23 win-loss record under Coach Herb Sendek during Harden’s tenure.

The latest edition features the school colors of maroon and gold.  Full-length BOOST cushioning is incorporated together with a TPU forefoot roll cage and reengineered fast traction to amplify control at all angles of play.

The Crazylight 2016 ASU edition is now available at Titan stores.  Suggested retail price is PHP7,995.00.
