NAASCU: September 15 Juniors Recap

NAASCU on Facebook     MANDALUYONG CITY – The favorites continued their march towards the playoff round of the 16th National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) Juniors Division.  Only the top six among the 10 teams will advance in the competition open to all students aged 19 years and under.

Rizal Technological University remained the solo leader after grabbing their sixth straight win in as many games by beating Philippine Christian University Baby Dolphins, 92-84.  Jonathan Boholano had 34 and Philip Redondo added 27 points for the Junior Thunder of Coach Arlene Rodriguez.

In other games, the AMA University Junior Titans defeated De Ocampo Memorial College Junior Cobras, 91-7, and Our Lady of Fatima University Junior Phoenix got the better of the Manuel L. Quezon University Colts, 84-74.  Saint Clare College of Caloocan Junior Saints then drubbed Colegio de San Lorenzo Junior Griffins, 84-60, while Philippine Merchant Marine School Junior Mariners drubbed New Era University Junior Hunters, 79-63.
