MANDALUYONG CITY – Perennial Juniors Division powerhouse Our Lady of Fatima University opened its 16th National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) basketball schedule by slapping Colegio de San Lorenzo, 72-59, at the Rizal Technological University Gym last Tuesday (August 30).
The Junior Griffins actually led after one period, 14-12, but Niko Panganiban and Danzel Gomez combined for six points each in the second canto to ward off any CDSL rallies.
