PBA Sbarro Run For A Cause On July 10

PBAFunRun (060716) GET THE chance to run with your favorite basketball idols while raising money for charity at the PBA Sbarro Run For A Cause set for July 10, 2016 (Sunday) at the Quezon City Memorial starting at 4:00 AM.  Now on its seventh year, the annual event will again have as its main beneficiary the Cancer and Hematology Center of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.

Runners can choose between 15, 10, five and three-kilometer distance categories.  There will also be a special category for pets and their owners.

All race kits include a race bib with timing chip and a running singlet.  Medals and loot bags await all finishers while the top finishers in all categories will receive special prizes and gift packs from sponsors.

Registration fees are set at PHP 900.00 (15 kilometers), PHP 750.00 (10 kilometers), PHP 650.00 (five kilometers), PHP 550.00 (three kilometers) and PHP 300.00 (Pet Run).  Runners may now go to Chris Sports branches located in SM City North EDSA, SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, Glorietta and Market Market and the PBA offices in Eastwood City.

Of course, a major highlight of the event is the chance to rub elbows with the superstars of the PBA while running on the road.  Through the years, the event has managed to bring the fans and the players closer to each other while giving back to the community through charity work.
