D-League: Racal d. AMA, 100-67

2016 Foundation Cup     QUEZON CITY – Debuting Racal Tiles gave AMA Online Education a neat basketball lesson to the tune of 100-67 to jumpstart their title quest at the 2016 PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Jesus Christ Saves Global Outreach Gym Tuesday afternoon (June 7).  The Tile Masters were in control of the entire ball game save for a brief moment in the first period wherein the score was tied at 8-8.

Raphael Banal and Dexter Maiquez starred in the 19-2 crucial second period spurt that pushed Racal on top at the halftime break, 49-30.  Banal was not yet finished as he added two more triples at the start of the fourth period to give Racal its biggest lead of the contest, 77-45.

Maiquez led the Tile Masters with 16 points and nine rebounds.  Also hitting double-digits were Banal with 15, Jonathanan Grey with 13 and Robby Celiz with 11.

John Ragasa paced the Titans with 16 points as they dropped their second straight game in as many starts.  Coming next were Ryan Arambulo with 14 and Rey Publico and Gene Belleza with 12 each.
