Lillard Returns To Manila

_DameTimeManila     DAMIAN LILLARD will once regain return to Manila to reconnect with his Filipino fans. The All-Star guard of the NBA’s Portland Trailblazers is set visit from June 14 to 15, 2016 and adidas is making sure that this will be another tour to remember for all.

While in the country, Lillard is expected to engage in several activities donning his signature D Lillard 2 shoes. Special editions and a new colorway for the said shoe will also be introduced at selected adidas stores during his stay.

The timing of the visit cannot be any better. Lillard is coming off a banner season where he averaged a career-best 25.1 points and 6.8 assists as he led his team all the way to the Western Conference semifinals where they bowed to the Golden State Warriors in five games.

Lillard is the latest in a long line of global brand ambassadors that adidas has brought in to visit the Philippines. Just last year, Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves wowed the local fans as he gamely played street basketball and conducted clinics for young cagers.

In 2014, Lillard joined a selection of his fellow NBA players for an aborted exhibition game with the Philippine national team. This time, everything will hopefully turn out smoothly, just like the way Lillard operates on the basketball court.
