Let’s Save Baby Shaila!

13147491_10209413304359237_1051173181188117959_o     BABY SHAILA is knocking at your hearts, she wants to live a normal and happy life.  The nine-month old infant has been diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare disease that attacks the liver and no less than a transplant will save her.

Because of that, the Pinoy Aspiring Runners (PAR) will stage “Baby On Track”, a charity fun run on June 26, 2016 (Sunday) at the Cultural Center of the Philippines grounds starting at 4:30 AM.  The goal is to raise funds in order to defray a portion of the PHP 4,500,000.00 needed for Baby Shaila’s operation.

Distance categories will be 10, five and three kilometers and all race kits will include an event singlet, race bib and a commemorative finisher medal.  Registration fees are set at PHP 650.00 (10 kilometers), PHP 550.00 (five kilometers) and PHP 550.00 (three kilometers).

Registration is now ongoing at Sportshouse branches in SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and SM City North EDSA and Garmin in Glorietta V so save the date on your running calendars.  Special promos for group registrations of 10 or more runners are also available.

This early, parents Michael and Sherrie Lyn Castell are very thankful for the outpouring of support and concern for their daughter.  We hope to see very soon a healthy Baby Shaila running around.
