RTU, CEU Volleybelles Go 4-0

NAASCU on Facebook    QUEZON CITY – Defending champion Rizal Technological University and Centro Escolar University continued to stamp their class over the rest of the field in the 15th National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) Women’s Volleyball Tournament with big wins Monday (February 22) at the New Era University Gym. Both varsities now tote similar 4-0 win-loss cards to pace the seven-team field.

The lone match in the Men’s Division saw New Era making it a double celebration as the Hunters squashed the Dolphins for their first win after dropping their first two assignments, 25-17, 25-22 and 25-15. The top four teams in the Women’s and Men’s Divisions will advance to the knockout crossover semifinals next month with the survivors meeting in the best-of-three championship series.
