Color Manila Run Goes South

CM Davao_PosterCM Cebu_Poster     RUNNERS FROM the Visayas and Mindanao will get to fully experience anew the sights and sounds of the Color Manila Run as the highly popular series continues its regional tour later this month. Davao City will get to host its first ever Color Manila Run on May 24 after which Cebu City will get its second staging on May 31.

Presented in partnership with Brother Philippines, the runs will feature 10, six and three-kilometer categories. Venue for the Davao Leg will be the Crocodile Park while the Cebu Leg will be at the South Road Properties.

The special six-kilometer category highlights the latest Brother printers that have the capability to produce 6,000 pages per ink refill. Registration fee for all categories is a flat PHP 750.00 for Cebu and PHP 650.00 for Davao.

The race kit will include a special dri-fit shirt, race bib, foldable sunglasses, colored powder sachet and a Brother draw string bag for all plus a Brother pillow for six-kilometer racers. All finishers will get a commemorative medal.

The fun does not end after the race. The morning will be rocked by a festival of colors with top DJs spinning the latest party beats while lucky runners can bring home the latest Brother printers and other products in the raffle.

Interested parties may now register online using a credit card, debit card or PayPal at Prepaid cards are also available at all SM Tickets outlets nationwide and at RUNNR-Ayala Center Center, Toby’s in SM City Cebu and adidas-Gaisano Mall Davao.

2015 is not even halfway through and it has already been a very busy year for race organizer Proactive. Prior to the Davao and Cebu Legs, the Color Manila Nite Run: Blacklight Edition will hit the streets of the Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang, Muntinlupa City on May 16.

The Third Color Run Manila was successfully staged last January 4 at the Bonifacio Global City last January while the regional series kicked off with visits to the cities of Bacolod and Dagupan. A special Watson’s Color Manila Challenge was also staged last April 19 at the SM Mall of Asia wherein participants had to go through a series of obstacles.

“We will duplicate the fun of the Color Manila Run while injecting a bit of local flavor in our regional races,” said Coach Jay Em of Proactive. Meanwhile, Brother Philippines President Glenn P. Hocson added that they have chosen the perfect venue to publicly launch their exciting new products.

For sure, it will be a total sensory experience with the colorful clouds weaving together with the music amidst the warm morning sun. Register now as slots are expected to disappear quickly.
