TakBokasyon On April 25

Poster1.1     THE MARIKINA Sports Park will play host to “TakBokasyon”, a charity fun run set for April 25, 2015 (Saturday) starting at 4:00 AM. Proceeds of the event will go to the education of seminarians from the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament.

More commonly known as the Sacramentinos, the group is known for their life of intense prayer and apostolic zeal. Now, they hope to tap into the passion, kindness and generosity of the running community to help them in their goal of producing more priests.

Distances categories on tap are 10, five, three and one kilometer. Race fees are set at PHP 650.00 (10 kilometers), PHP 600.00 (five kilometers), PHP 550.00 (three kilometers) and PHP 450.00 (one kilometer) inclusive of an event singlet and race bib.

Students are entitled to PHP 50.00 off upon presentation of a valid school ID. Groups of at least 10 runners will entitled to one free race kit of the shortest distance paid and registered.

Bigger groups of at least 50 runners will get PHP 50.00 each off their fees while it will be PHP 60.00 off for groups of 100 or more. Furthermore, all groups or teams of at least 50 runners will be given their own tent on race day.

Prizes and giveaways await the top three finishers in all categories. All finishers in all distances will be rewarded with commemorative medals.

Registration is ongoing at Sportshouse branches in Metro Manila located at the SM Mall of Asia, SM City North EDSA, SM Megamall, SM City Fairview, SM Novaliches, SM Marikina, SM Bicutan, Trinoma and Robinson’s Galleria plus provincial outlets at SM Baliuag, SM Marilao, SM Santa Rosa, SM Calamba and SM City Bacoor. Entries are also accepted at the Santa Cruz Parish Church in Plaza Santa Cruz, Manila and at the Sacrametinos’ offices along Eymard Drive in New Manila, Quezon City.

This event is held in cooperation with the Pinoy Aspiring Runners (PAR). The dynamic running group is coming off the successful staging of “Miles for Jeremiah” last February 8 which marked their second anniversary while raising funds for the Jeremiah Foundation.
